About Shared Ground
Healing Collective
Rooted in care, grounded in connection, guided by integrity.
Shared Ground Healing Collective brings together distinct offerings in support of individual and collective well-being. Each offering is held within a clear scope of practice and guided by relational ethics, cultural humility, and respect for lived experience.
Shared Ground was created as a space where clinical work, community education, integration support, and embodied practice can coexist without collapsing into one another. Rather than blending these paths together, the collective honors the unique role each can play while maintaining clarity about purpose, responsibility, and scope.

Why Shared Ground
Shared Ground was born from a simple observation: healing rarely happens in only one place.
Sometimes growth happens in therapy. Sometimes it happens through community, education, reflection, or meaningful conversations with others who understand our experiences. Often, it unfolds across multiple spaces and relationships over time.
Too often, these different forms of support are treated as though they must exist separately from one another, or are expected to meet needs they were never designed to hold. Shared Ground was created as a way to honor the unique role each can play while maintaining clear boundaries, ethical responsibility, and respect for scope of practice.
Rather than bringing everything under a single model, Shared Ground creates space for distinct offerings to exist in thoughtful relationship with one another. Clinical therapy, community-based learning, support groups, and integration services each serve different purposes, and each deserves clarity about what it can and cannot provide.
The name Shared Ground reflects a commitment to common humanity. It speaks to the possibility of gathering across differences, honoring lived experience, and creating spaces where connection, learning, healing, and growth can emerge in relationship with ourselves and one another.

Meet Christina
Shared Ground Healing Collective is founded and led by Christina Colombo.
My work has taken me across many corners of the behavioral health field, including mental health counseling, substance use treatment, grief support, community education, and group facilitation. Along the way, I've come to believe that healing is rarely linear and that meaningful change often happens through a combination of reflection, connection, learning, and support.
I am drawn to work that honors complexity. People are more than diagnoses, symptoms, or circumstances, and there is no single path that fits everyone. Healing is shaped not only by our internal experiences, but also by our relationships, identities, cultures, communities, and the systems we move through. Whether I am working with someone in therapy, facilitating a group, teaching a course, or supporting integration work, my goal is to create spaces where people feel respected, understood, and empowered to move toward what matters most to them.
My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and respect for lived experience. I believe that growth happens best when people are given room to move at their own pace, explore their own questions, and define healing on their own terms.
Shared Ground reflects the values that guide both my professional work and my vision for community: care rooted in relationship, learning grounded in humility, and a commitment to creating spaces where people can gather, grow, and support one another with integrity.

How I Approach Healing
Healing is not about fixing what is broken. It is about creating space to understand yourself more fully, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with who you are.
My approach is grounded in relationship, curiosity, and respect for each person's unique experience. While every person's journey is different, the following principles guide my work.
Collaboration
Healing happens in partnership. I bring clinical knowledge and perspective while honoring your lived experience, wisdom, and autonomy.
Parts Work & Self-Understanding
Influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), I support people in exploring different aspects of themselves with curiosity, compassion, and respect.
Grief & Meaning-Making
Loss and transition often invite reflection and transformation. My work supports integration, meaning-making, and reconnection with what matters most.
Trauma-Informed & EMDR-Informed Care
Trauma shapes how we experience ourselves and the world. My work is grounded in trauma-informed principles and may incorporate EMDR when appropriate.
Harm Reduction
Meaningful change looks different for everyone. I support people in defining growth on their own terms.
Honoring Context
Healing is shaped by relationships, identities, culture, community, and systems. I strive to hold space for the whole person.
Growing the Collective
Shared Ground Healing Collective was created with the possibility of growth in mind.
While the collective is currently led by Christina, the long-term vision has always been larger than a single person or service. Over time, additional facilitators, educators, practitioners, and collaborators may join the collective in ways that expand opportunities for connection, learning, healing, and community.
Growth will be guided by intention rather than urgency. New offerings, partnerships, and collaborations will be developed thoughtfully, with attention to sustainability, ethical practice, and alignment with the values that shape Shared Ground.
The goal is not simply to grow bigger, but to cultivate spaces where people feel supported, respected, and connected to themselves, one another, and the communities they are part of.
Find Your Place
Shared Ground brings together a variety of offerings designed to support healing, learning, connection, and growth. Whether you're looking for therapy, community, education, or integration support, there's no expectation that your path look like anyone else's.
You're welcome to explore, ask questions, and connect when you're ready.
