Our Values
The work of Shared Ground is shaped by a commitment to care, dignity, relationship, accountability, and collective well-being. These values influence how services are offered, how decisions are made, and how we show up in relationship with ourselves, one another, and the communities we are part of.
Care & Dignity
Every person deserves to be met with compassion, respect, and recognition of their inherent worth.
Relationship & Connection
Healing, learning, and growth happen through meaningful relationships with ourselves, one another, and our communities.
Cultural Humility & Liberation
We honor the ways identity, culture, history, and systems shape experiences of healing, belonging, and resilience.
Consent & Choice
Participation is invitational, guided by informed choice, personal agency, and respect for individual pacing.
Integrity & Accountability
Trust is built through transparency, ethical practice, responsibility, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Community & Collective Care
Healing is not solely individual. We value spaces where people can gather, learn, support one another, and grow together.

Land, Place & Accountability
Shared Ground Healing Collective acknowledges that this work takes place on the ancestral lands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Ute peoples. These lands carry histories of displacement, resilience, stewardship, and continued Indigenous presence.
We recognize that healing does not happen apart from place. Land shapes communities, relationships, culture, and our sense of belonging. We also recognize that colonialism and forced removal have ongoing impacts that continue to influence health, access, and opportunity today.
This acknowledgement is not intended as a conclusion, but as an invitation to ongoing learning, humility, and accountability. Shared Ground remains committed to approaching this work with respect for the histories, communities, and relationships that make healing possible.
Values in Action
Values are not destinations. They are ongoing practices that require reflection, learning, and accountability.
At Shared Ground, these values shape how services are offered, how relationships are approached, and how decisions are made. They inform how we hold space, navigate responsibility, respond to feedback, and remain accountable to the people and communities we serve.
We recognize that living our values is an ongoing process rather than a finished achievement. Shared Ground is committed to continued learning, growth, and reflection as the collective evolves.
More Than Services
Shared Ground is more than a collection of services. It is a commitment to creating spaces where people can connect, learn, heal, and grow in ways that honor their dignity, autonomy, and lived experience.
We invite you to explore the collective and discover the offerings, relationships, and opportunities for connection that resonate with you.
